SNOW Card

I had a very enjoyable glittering session last week, having finally discovered how to seal glitter using mod podge so that is doesn't go EVERYWHERE as it so loves to do.

I made this Snow card.

I designed the actual snow using my Cricut so that the O could be a snowflake and I love this colour glitter which I've had for ages.
The embossing folder is one of the spellbinder m-bossabilities called Holiday Magic and it's so pretty!! I just highlighted it with some Peacock Feather DI and added some stickles dots in the corners.

I shall be entering this into Ladybug Crafts - Snowflake Challenge and Make It Monday

Pop Tart Inspired Birthday Card

I made a card for my friends birthday the other day. And as he is a fellow pop tart lover I decided to make his card a pop tart!

I embossed the backing card which is a dark brown pearl card.
My Pop Tart is just a rectangle of card with rounded corners which I inked with Brushed Corduroy DI.  Then I free cut a slightly smaller rectangle with wavy edges and sprayed it with Perfect Pearl Mists, then added the googly eyes, drew the mouth and added different colour small rhinestones to make the sprinkles.
I printed the sentiment from my computer and foiled it in gold and then finished the card off with some gold ribbon and gold rhinestones.
I'm really happy with how it turned out and I'm going to link up to Make It Monday!

Sparkle and Pine Cones!

Hello Blog Land!!
It's been so long! I've been ridiculously busy lately trying to add new thing to and re vamp my website and it is a very loooooooong process, but it's coming along!

Anyway I wanted to share some cards I made with you that are all sparkly and lovely and I've been playing with my new Tim Holtz Pine Cone die which is just amazing!!

The one above is the first one I made. I used a lot of techniques that Tim used on one of his 12 days of Christmas from a couple of years ago. I designed and cut out the NOEL using my Gypsy and Cricut.
Here's a green noel, in between I found out how to seal the glitter and not lose any shine using Mod Podge! Hooray!!
And this is JOY just to try something different!

I shall be entering this into Make It Monday
