SNOW Card

I had a very enjoyable glittering session last week, having finally discovered how to seal glitter using mod podge so that is doesn't go EVERYWHERE as it so loves to do.

I made this Snow card.

I designed the actual snow using my Cricut so that the O could be a snowflake and I love this colour glitter which I've had for ages.
The embossing folder is one of the spellbinder m-bossabilities called Holiday Magic and it's so pretty!! I just highlighted it with some Peacock Feather DI and added some stickles dots in the corners.

Pop Tart Inspired Birthday Card

I made a card for my friends birthday the other day. And as he is a fellow pop tart lover I decided to make his card a pop tart!

I embossed the backing card which is a dark brown pearl card.
My Pop Tart is just a rectangle of card with rounded corners which I inked with Brushed Corduroy DI.  Then I free cut a slightly smaller rectangle with wavy edges and sprayed it with Perfect Pearl Mists, then added the googly eyes, drew the mouth and added different colour small rhinestones to make the sprinkles.
I printed the sentiment from my computer and foiled it in gold and then finished the card off with some gold ribbon and gold rhinestones.
I'm really happy with how it turned out and I'm going to link up to Make It Monday!

Sparkle and Pine Cones!

Hello Blog Land!!
It's been so long! I've been ridiculously busy lately trying to add new thing to and re vamp my website and it is a very loooooooong process, but it's coming along!

Anyway I wanted to share some cards I made with you that are all sparkly and lovely and I've been playing with my new Tim Holtz Pine Cone die which is just amazing!!

The one above is the first one I made. I used a lot of techniques that Tim used on one of his 12 days of Christmas from a couple of years ago. I designed and cut out the NOEL using my Gypsy and Cricut.
Here's a green noel, in between I found out how to seal the glitter and not lose any shine using Mod Podge! Hooray!!
And this is JOY just to try something different!

Cupcake Birthday Card

Hi Bloggers

Just wanted to share a card I made for my Aunts Birthday!

I debossed a piece of card using the Cupcake folder from the Cuttlebug All in One and inked the raised portions with Distress Inks before running it through the embossing machine to pick out the image.
Then I cut out a circle of silver mirror using my nesties and embossed it.  Then cut out a much smaller scalloped circle and then a bigger one alone the edge to make the top of a cupcake.  Then cut out the base freehand and embossed some lines then highlighted it with Frayed Burlap DI and decorated the top of the cupcake with rhinestones.
I printed out and foiled the sentiment and matted it with foam tape!

Stack of Books

Good Evening Everyone, I just wanted to share todays creation with you!!

I was wondering around on You Tube this morning (as you do) and found this video for a beautiful creation that is a set of drawers but looks like a stack of books:

And I thought - I want to have a go at that, as it is just so so beautiful!!
So I did - It's not quite as elaborate as this one but I am so pleased with the result!

Yay!! I'd love to know what you think of it!

Wedding Not So Mini Album

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share a mini album (or not so much as it turned out) that I made for my Best Friends who got married at the end of July.  This was their present and it included stories and memories from both sides of the family as well as from their friends and pictures from the day itself!  It turned out to be a bit of a beast but I am so incredibly proud of it and what's most important is that they absolutely loved it! Hooray! (There are quite a lot of pictures here, sorry about that)
