Hello again bloggers.
I thought I'd share with you some of the cards I made for the Fair I did at the weekend! As it was at my friends school I thought it would be a good idea to make some Thank You Teacher Cards as the end of term isn't far away!
I used Sassy Studio Designs Mrs S Digi to create these cards, and did 3 in different colours.
I matted each image onto some mirri card, then embossed a piece of white card using various Cuttlebug All-In-One folders and matted this onto the same colour card and then added a coordinating ribbon down the side. I wrote on each of the board with my Quickie Glue Pen and added glitter and of course a few little rhinestones in the corner.

12 Tags of 2012 - July Tag
Hello Bloggers,
I feel like I've been away from blog land forever I've been really busy as I had a fair at the weekend and my Best Friend's Wedding is at the end of the month which I am doing all the stationery for as well as being her Maid of Honour so have been running around with Dress Fittings and all the fun that comes with that!!
Sadly due to all that business I have no idea where June went and didn't actually get round to doing my June Tag (but shall catch up at some point cause I don't want to be a tag short) but I am up to date and ready with my July Offering for Tim's 12 Tags of 2012 which this month was playing with Alcohol Inks yay!!
So Tim's technique used a can of air to spread the alcohol inks around, but I didn't have this so instead I used the old school favourite of a straw and some puff from yours truly, and while you don't get such a big 'splat' I think it works just as well!!
I stamped the images with Jet Black Archival, and used Pappilion (not sure that's spelt right) and Shabby French.
I also don't have any of the word sticks so made my own using Polymer Clay and some stamps and quite liked how this turned out!
To finish off I stained some ribbon and added a little clay key I made ages ago!
I shall also being entering this into:

Sassy Steampunk
This card is this weeks Dare to be Sassy challenge at Sassy Studios, which this week has a sketch to follow. The image I've used is one of the Steampunk Duos and I LOVE IT!!!
You might be asking why I have coloured them so differently and yet used the sentiment 'For My Twin', but being a Fraternal (non-identical) Twin myself I think it's important to realise that to be a Twin does not automatically mean you are identical and also does not mean you are the same person!
So just thought I'd illustrate that in my card for something a bit different :-)!!

Pocket Watch
So I've made this for the Studio L3 Compendium of Curiosities Challenge, which is the pocket watch an can be found on page 35 of Tim's book. This week's challenge is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. The only problem is I am seriously lacking in time and funds at the moment so have been unable to get the essential component of the Pocket Watch itself, so not sure if I am allowed to enter it, but will anyway.
So as is my way - I made one out of clay instead:
I added a scalloped circle of pearl paper, then a clay rose I had made and covered the entire thing with glossy accents and while it was drying sprinkled some red glitter over the top just to add a little bit more interest!!
So admittedly a bit rubbish but needs must! Hey ho!

Father's Day Card
Hello Bloggers,
I thought I'd share my card for Father's Day with you:
I used the Tim Holtz wood stamp for my background, stamped with Frayed Burlap DI clear embossed it, then distressed the edges and went over the whole ting with Walnut Stain, then mounted it on some gold mirror board.
Then I Printed and foiled the image and the sentiment on some black card and used gold foil and mounted these onto gold mirror board and attached to the background with foam tape. Then added some little bling in the corners of the image to finish it off.
Printed and foiled an insert to finish it off completely and taa daa!!
I shall be entering this into the following challenges:
Saturday Challenge - Happy Father's Day
Milk Coffee Challenge - Embossing
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
